The prosecutor said that from 2017 to 2021, Williams and several other accomplices (including several doctors) submitted forged invoices full of spelling mistakes and inconsistencies, to reimburse medical expenses that have never been incurred. The prosecutor also said Williams had sent a threatening text message to a witness.
