Russell is a guest of Beverly’s podcasting program today, talking about the Lakers in the new season.
Russell said: “I know we have many players who can play. What contribution everyone can make to the team every night will become our focus. I may need to score in a certain match, in another match, you need to send 8 assists. You need to give assists to Reeves standing at the bottom corner. Everyone has to play the right basketball.”
“If each of us is committed to this, the sky is our limit. Whether it is Reeves or the eight villages, these guys can play a winning performance. We need to make sure we enter the playoffs and stand up again from where we failed. Everything else is not important.” Russell said.
