Cook: never forget the 18th finals G1 James red eyes connected by a dozen points
Live broadcast, August 7 news recently, former warrior defender Quine Cook talked about the 2010 finals G1 in a podcasting program, recalling James’s strong performance in that game.
“I was in the Warriors in the finals G1. We played against his team and I will never forget it, because I am his rookie (Cook played for the Development League team under the knight two years before his career),” Cook said, “he fell into a struggle with chasing dreams, chasing dreams hit his eyes, his eyes became very red with congestion. He came up and said to me, ‘Queen, you ‘d better calm him down’, and then he scored 13 or 14 points in a row, at last he hit three points in the range of the library and looked at me as if to say, ‘I told you’.”
In the 18th finals, G1 James made 19 of 32 shots, 3 of 7 in 3 points, and 10 of 11 free throws got 51 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
