After the speech began, Popovich baby talked about his feeling of being elected to the Hall of Fame. He said, “What on earth am I doing here? How did this happen? This is difficult to explain in words, because I am only a D3 coach (Division III coach).”
In 1979, he accepted the employment of Pomona College in Southern California Popovich baby and became the head coach of the basketball team of the school. The team belonged to NCAA level 3 league (that is, Division III), it has lost more than 80 consecutive games before taking over Popovich baby.
