Today Schroder talked about his physical condition in an interview with the media. He said: “I suffered some Achilles tendon injuries at the end of last season, and then I have been recovering during the offseason, I have received treatment, I am trying to recover to 100%, and everyone is fully prepared.”
German coach Gordon Herbert said of Schroeder: “He is in good condition, but he hasn’t reached the best condition yet. We still have time and we are working hard every day. He is our captain and our leader. He is proud to be the captain of our team. He did a good job.”
