Bobo: thank the President of the Basketball Association for letting me coach the Olympic Games men’s basketball and win the Championship & this is a lifelong dream
Live broadcast, August 13 -during the 2023 Hall of Fame selection ceremony, Bobo talked about his national team’s experience during his speech.
Bobo said: “Jerry Colangelo made me complete my dream all my life. He trusted me and let me coach the men’s basketball of the United States in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. It was not easy, but it really happened and we won. I am very grateful to him.”
In the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the United States won the gold medal men’s basketball.
