Schroeder apologized to Kleber: I never intentionally put anyone in an awkward or uneasy situation.
Live broadcast, July 24 news Schroeder criticized his German national team teammate Kleber in the podcasting program last year for his personal training in summer rather than participating in the European championship at home (last European Championship), the latter announced its withdrawal after being selected for this year’s national team and will be absent from the upcoming World Cup.
Schroeder apologized to Kleber in an interview with the media recently. He said: “I want to apologize to Kleber and his family for my previous remarks, I have never intentionally put anyone in an awkward or uneasy situation. My purpose is only to support my team and make it clear that I am willing to do anything for my team.”
“All of these, from my point of view, are not aimed at Kleber personally. People who know me know it. I am a straightforward person, and always assume that when I talk, the other person can understand what I mean. But I realized again that this was not always the case. I still appreciated and respected him and his career, and hoped that he would accept my apology.”
