Conley said: “I was rarely knocked down, but this may have happened last year when we were visiting Minnesota (Conley was still in jazz at that time), Russell knocked me down, it’s really hard.”
On October 22 last year, jazz played away against Timberwolves in NBA regular season. At the fourth quarter of the game, Russell flew to Conley and hit the board. When the two sides reached the Plus with 120 draws, the Jazz finally defeated Timberwolves away.
