Live Bar, August 8th recently, Clay talked about former teammate Poole in George’s podcasting program.
Clay said: “I was hurt to see Poole leave. He was chosen by our team. I saw him train hard. I saw him play 2 in 15, but he started training immediately after the match. I knew this child would be very special. Without him, we would not win the championship. He was very important to us when Curry was injured.
“The Warrior will always remember him. He helps us regain the championship. I knew he would play well at the Wizards. It was a little strange to see him wearing the Wizards jersey. He was my little brother and Curry’s. He definitely has the potential to become an all-star. You can see that his data in the year when we won the championship almost scored 18 points in the level of the 180 club, which is very difficult to achieve. I am very excited to see him and Kuzma partner. I am very happy for him. The Wizard has got a good player. He is the future all-star.”
