Officially elected to the Texas Hall of Fame! Parkins: all the sufferings have made me today
Live Bar, August 9th today, the Texas basketball coach Association announced that Parkins was elected to the Texas Hall of Fame. Parkins was born in Nederland, Texas, USA on November 10, 1984. He led Beaumont-Orson high school to win the regional championship four times in a row and participated in the state championships three times in 2001, 2002 and 2003, including the 4A state championship in 2001, and won the season championship with a perfect record of 36 wins and 0 losses, and was named the basketball player of Texas in 2003. Parkins played for Boston Celtics, Thunder, Knights and Pelicans successively in NBA career. He won the NBA championship with Celtics in 2008, and he could get 5.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists in career games. Parkins gave a speech: “When I was a child, I cried and fell asleep many nights, because suffering and struggle were real, but all this made me who I am today. I received a call today that I was officially selected for Texas Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame! Thank God! Thank you!”
