Zeng Maozhou: because I started my third year in September this year, it is really difficult for me to graduate from Tsinghua University. If both sides need to be distracted, I feel that my energy may not be enough. Therefore, after repeated consideration, I finally chose to go back to school to finish the third year of this year’s research.

Zeng Maozhou: I think there are regrets. When I am happy, it is a very happy thing to play on the court, and in a team as strong as Guangdong Southern Tigers, it is a very happy thing to have the chance to play. However, regret may account for the majority, because there was no match at the beginning of the third stage. Unfortunately, there was no match at home.

Q: What is the deepest memory of CBA?

Zeng Maozhou: when I played for the first time in CBA, I made a three points. I remember Zhao Rui shouted louder than me and more excited than me. Then I entered the dressing room, and Du Feng’s guidance also congratulated me and wished me the first point in CBA.

Q: What is the biggest gain of this experience?

Zeng Maozhou: the mentality has improved, because after a higher level of competition, it may be more plain in mentality, including when facing something, it will be more calm.

At the 2022cba draft conference, Zeng Maozhou of Tsinghua University was selected on the 17th in the first round Guangdong Southern Tigers men’s basketball. In the 2022-23 season, Zeng Maozhou missed the game in the second half of the season due to injury.
