Live Bar, August 6 -former NBA and CBA player Michael Beasley was interviewed by Boston Globe recently.
When asked why he quit NBA, Beasley said, “If I knew the answer to this question, I would have solved it long ago, but I don’t know, for me, it is to keep fit and be ready at any time.”
However, Beasley admitted that mental health was a problem he faced. It took him many years to admit that he was not perfect. He needed to pay attention to his mental health as much as he paid attention to his body, “This is a personal journey. Everyone has his own maturity process. I have to overcome many things in this process, so what I want to tell you is that I have to be down to Earth every day, be better to yourself and become better than yesterday’s yourself. Don’t compare yourself with anyone except yourself in the mirror.” Beasley said.
