Rivers said: “I love Larry Bird, but Larry Bird is not better than Durant. Larry Bird is one of the best players in the Hall of Fame and history. He is the champion. He won the championship in his own team and he did not leave to go to other teams.
“I understand that people are dissatisfied with Durant’s change, but I don’t think it shows what kind of player he is, it only shows his character. He went to the best team warriors, but he is still the best player in the team.”
